The maker of Pritt Glue It is Henkel Corporation, a German company that also made the original Duck Adhesive that many of you are familiar with and that we used to sell. Pritt is basically the same product and also carries the CK OK seal of approval. However, this adhesive is still made in Germany (read below for what has happened to Duck) and comes as a refillable dispenser with nearly twice as much adhesive as the Duck had. And no trying to figure out how to reload it - the refill cartridges drop right in. We are very pleased with it.

Duck Brand Permanent Adhesives

ATTENTION: The makers of Duck Brand Adhesive have changed everything about this once great product. Upon discovery, I found that this "new and improved" Duck in no longer made in Germany, but rather in China and with that change came an inferior product. My trial group - including myself - is not satisfied with its performance. Instead of coming out in a "sticky run", it is now tiny rectangles of a glue-coated, plastic type of material. Where once before, if you ran off your project or your tape line was wider that what you were applying the adhesive to, you could just rub it off. This new stuff with its plastic pieces cannot be rubbed off. Your only hope in this situation is to cut it off! And it's so sticky that even that doesn't work. I tried folding it back on itself to hide it, but the plastic pieces are rather stiff and kept wanting to pop back out. In addition, it is less forgiving in that if you place your mat, photo, etc down in the wrong position, it is extremely hard to get it back up even if you just set it in place! If you manage to get the item up, the new Duck generally leaves sticky residue on your project. Even Un-Do will not work. And the container has been redesigned and we found it not very ergonomic.

For this reason, I am discontinuing the sale of Duck Brand Adhesive and returning the balance of this new stock back to my distributor. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
