About Cranberry Cat™

Mission Statement: To make scrapbooking more affordable and fun for everyone.

Cranberry Cat was formed in 2002 because of my love of scrapbooking and my desire to fill a need for my fellow scrapbookers. I first began selling items to my friends, but then their friends were calling me, too. Demand soon created a need to expand to the Internet. In addition to the products sold here, we are in the process of developing our own new products to enhance your scrapbooking experience, which will include dedicated storage items and our original-design kits complete with all you need to make gorgeous layouts!

About me - I have been an avid scrapbooker since 2000 and stay on top of the current trends through classes, conventions and networking. I have a BS in Interior Design with a strong background in arts, crafts and color theory. In October 2004, my husband joined me in this venture to expand into our own products. His expertise is in design and manufacture of plastic products for which he holds 18 patents. Together we will bring you lots of new scrapbooking products and ideas.

People often asked me, "Why Cranberry Cat?" Well, years ago, I loved cranberry scented candles, however, NOT cranberries! Years later, I fell in love with cranberry glass that I found in Cape Cod. I also finally developed a taste for cranberries in things. My sister & I went on a trip to Cape Cod and one thing on our list to do was find a cranberry bog (yep, they look just like the one in the commercials!). We finally found one the last day. Plus we had delicious cranberry nut fudge! Anyway, I had been trying to come up with a new name for my business that would be fun and have something to do with my other love - CATS! Then it hit me - Cranberry Cat! And that's how it started.
